ANSI/HPVA HP-1 HARDWOOD PLYWOOD

Differentiate your hardwood plywood in the marketplace by certifying it to meet all requirements of ANSI/HPVA HP-1, the only national consensus standard for hardwood plywood. Product conformance is determined through on-going in-house and third party testing/evaluation of product types for moisture content, three cycle soak (type II glue bond), dimensional tolerance (thickness, length, width, squareness, and straightness), chemical resistance (pre-finished only) and formaldehyde emissions as stated in the HP-1 standard.
EF Logo

ANSI/HPVA EF ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING

Differentiate your engineered wood flooring product in the marketplace by certifying it to all of the requirements of ANSI/HPVA EF, the only national consensus standard for engineered wood flooring. Product conformance is determined through semi-annual testing/evaluation of product types for moisture content, three cycle soak (type II glue bond), Table 3 tolerance requirements (width, overwood, crook, squareness, flatness, thickness, and product coverage area), and finished product formaldehyde emissions as stated in the EF standard.

FIRE TESTING

Capital Testing offers certification to a wide range of fire test standards (see list here). While certification to these standards is not technically required by the building code, building inspectors often look for a certification “stamp” from a third party certifier like Capital Testing to confirm conformance with the building code. We customize our fire certification programs to fit your needs, so contact us directly for more information.
